Edema facial paralysis hyperacusis excessive tearing
Development of facial nerve palsy (FNP) may lead to dramatic change in the patient's taste sensation, decreased production of tears, and/or hyperacusis. Blunt trauma usually leads to nerve edema and contusion and only rarely . Overtreatment may result in ptosis, strabismus, dry eye, or excessive lagophthalmos.

Description:Otitis media —Inflammation or infection of the middle ear space behind the eardrum. The article presents three case reports of manifestation of Bells palsy. Ten percent of the children who contract Bell's palsy will have mild weakness remaining afterward, and 5 percent will have severe residual facial weakness. He was referred to the physiotherapist. The same causative agents infect both adults and children.
